Mad Jewels
Mad Jewels The mad-jewels are magical, yellow jewels that cause madness in any human or similarly intelligent creature within several leagues of them. They are stored in lead boxes with the null sign of the dead zero on it, the sign of nether magic. They are known to degrade when exposed to the air, lasting less than a year outside the box. Melski are affected by the mad-jewels but fodden are not.
